⚠️Build Failures

At each Evaluation Stage, there is a decreasing chance that a build will fail. If a build does fail, it could be caused by a build error that simply requires the build to be restarted, or it could be caused by a repairable ARC-Forge Malfunction, or (with a very low chance) that it is caused by a Catastrophic Malfunction.

ARC-Forge Malfunction

When a build fails, there is a small chance that the failure is due to a ARC-Forge Malfunction. In this case, the ARC-Forge remains online but enters the Idle state, and prevents building until the machine is repaired.

An ARC-Forge can be immediately repaired by equipping a Mechikit Upgrade.

Alternatively, the player can wait for an AXIS repair, which will be a random time period of 12 to 72 hours.

Catastrophic Malfunction

An ARC-Forge that is not equipped with the Xtended Upgrade and experiences a Catastrophic Malfunction will be taken Offline for 5 full days.

An Xtended Upgrade equipped to a ARC-Forge prevents this type of malfunction for 14 days. Three of them, for a total of 42 days, can be equipped at one time.

The odds of this type of malfunction are very low. About 1 per 1000 ARC-Forge builds.
